Who is responsible

What we collect and why

• Online booking: your first and last name, e-mail address, phone number, the number of shooters, whether you are a member and which type of sport shooting licence you hold. We use this to book your lane, send you a confirmation, let you know if anything changes and check that you may book online. Legal basis: carrying out your booking and our legitimate interest in meeting the legal conditions of the shooting range.
• Newsletter: your e-mail address. We only send you news about new arrivals and announcements, and only after you confirm your signup through the confirmation e-mail. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click.
• Contact form: your name, e-mail address, optionally your phone number, and your message, used only to answer your question. Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in replying.
• B2B request: the name of your company or club, optionally your VAT number, the contact person, e-mail, phone and your message, used to contact you about working together. Legal basis: your request.

Visitor statistics without cookies

We count anonymously how many people visit the website and which pages they view, to improve the site. For this we use Vercel Web Analytics, which works without cookies, stores nothing on your device and builds no profile of you. We only see totals, such as the number of visitors per day. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.

Cookies and storage on your device

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why no cookie banner is needed. We only use what is strictly necessary:

• If you close the holiday notice, your browser remembers it so you do not see it again. This stays on your own device.
• The map on the contact page only loads when you click 'Show the map'. Google Maps may then set cookies under Google's privacy policy. Without that click, nothing is loaded from Google.
• The management area of the website, only for the Coppens team, uses a necessary login cookie.

How long we keep your data

• Bookings: up to two years after the date of your session.
• Newsletter: as long as you are subscribed. A signup you do not confirm is removed after 30 days.
• Contact and B2B messages: as long as needed to follow up on your request, and at most two years.
• To protect against abuse, we keep an encrypted (hashed) counter per visitor of the forms sent. We do not store the actual IP address, and the counter is erased after 24 hours.

Who we share your data with

We never sell your data and do not share it for marketing. To run the website, we rely on these processors, who only use your data on our behalf:

• Legion United: development and technical management of the website.
• Vercel: hosting of the website.
• Supabase: the database, on servers in Ireland (EU).
• Google: the calendar holding the lane bookings.
• Resend: sending confirmation e-mails and the newsletter, through servers in Ireland (EU).
• Microsoft 365: our own mailbox, where your messages arrive.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of these processors are American companies. Where data may be processed outside the EU, this happens under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, so your data stays equally well protected.

Security

The website only works over a secure connection (https). Your data is kept in a protected database that only our own server can read, and the management area is protected by a password and a limit on login attempts.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object, and to receive it in a common format. Where you gave consent, such as for the newsletter, you can withdraw it at any time.

Send your request to info@coppensschietsport.com. We reply within one month. To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm that the request comes from you.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Changes

We update this statement when the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
